Teaching our children Quran recitation, memorization and basic tafseer, Arabic language and Islamic studies (Seerah, Hadith, Islamic manners, Islamic rituals and D’ua).

Connection to the masjid is vital for ouryouth because it anchors their identity in faith during formative years. SIMBA at Al-Hedayah strives to provide opportunities for our youth to connect with the masjid and have fun. It provides sound religious guidance, helping youth distinguish authentic Islamic values from cultural or societal pressures. It offers a positive community where young Muslims find belonging, mentorship, and righteous role models. Planned activities every Friday evening with adult supervision Some of SIMBA programs include –Bonfire and games planned several times a year Guest speakers focused on youth from across our DFW masajid and institutes Summer and winter camps

The prophet (pbuh) said as narrated by Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim, that a muslim whose heart is attached to the to the masjid is one of seven types of people Allah will shade on the Day of Judgment, signifying great reward, comfort, and closeness to Allah Regular spiritual activities at the masjid Our Imam Sheikh Mahmoud Qasim recites the complete Quran and performs “Khatam” of Quran continuously. Each “khatam” lasts about 9 months. It provides a great opportunity for our community to earn great reward while enjoying a great recitation Our Imam provides great insights on Quran, provides unique perspective and Tafseer on most Sunday’s, Thursdays. Sheikh Mujahed Bakhach gives a khatirah every Saturday after Fajr, providing great advice from Quran, Hadith and his vast practical experience Join us for hot drinks and light breakfast after Fajr prayer on most Sundays and weekdays
